Truman Austin Jones...

... the Jones line ...

This line gets interesting. Through the Rudd's we find a long line of Cary's. The top three dating back to 1375 were knights in England. One of these knights married a Courtenay, a prestigious family in England that was rooted in France.

This same line traces back to the Wake's, another important family in England. Hugh Wake who was born in 1210 fought alongside King Henry II in Brittany in 1230. He was also a knight who went to Palestine for the Crusade of the Holy Land with Simon de Montford. There he built a castle at Ascalon near Gaza which still bears the Wake coat of arms today.

Another family off of the Jones line can even be traced back to Charlemagne!

Just a little teaser for what is to come.
